4 May 2017 – 25 February 2018
To mark the 125-year history of Hertha BSC, this special exhibition is dedicated to the rich history and mixed fortunes of Berlin's football scene through the lens of its most famous team. In eleven chapters it describes the highs and lows, the local rivalries and a boundless enthusiasm that can overcome walls.
These 125 years are inseparably bound up with the unique history of Berlin as the centre of the German Reich, the flash point in the ultimate division of Europe, and as the capital of reunified Germany. The exhibition represents and exciting one-two between the many facets of Berlin's metropolitan and sporting history – from the early days of football to the present and beyond.
